Step 1 - Wrist Strap Identification & Placement
-
Locate the Right and Left labels on the strap tabs.
-
Secure each strap around the correct wrist.
-
Position the D-rings facing down toward your elbows.

Step 2 - Knee Strap Identification & Placement
-
Locate the Right and Left labels on the knee straps.
-
Choose a location: Just above or just under the kneecap
-
Wrap the straps tightly and comfortably around each leg.
-
Position the D-rings facing outward away from your body.

Step 3 - Resistance Power Cord Setup
-
Select your resistance level from the power cords included in your package:
-
Yellow: Up to 5 lbs (Light)
-
Red: Up to 7 lbs (Medium)
-
Blue: Up to 9 lbs (Heavy)
-
Purple: Up to 12 lbs (Extra Heavy)
-
-
Start light and progress gradually. Do not begin with the heavy or extra-heavy resistance cords. Choose a resistance that allows you to maintain proper form and comfortably walk 10–12 minutes (approximately 0.4 miles). Once you can do this with ease, move up to the next resistance level.
-
Attach the power cords. Clip one end of each resistance cord to the wrist strap D-ring and the other end to the knee strap D-ring on the same side of your body. Repeat for both the left and right sides.

Step 4 - Movement & Walking Technique
-
Stand tall with your core engaged and maintain an upright posture throughout the exercise.
-
If you are new to the movement, practice the technique without resistance before beginning.
-
Extend one arm forward while the same-side leg extends behind you (right arm/right leg, then left arm/left leg).
-
Securely shift your weight onto the toes and balls of your feet, or onto your heel as your stride naturally progresses.
-
Alternate continuously between the left and right sides in a smooth, rhythmic scissors-like motion.
-
Fully stretch each power cord in opposite directions with every stride to maximize tension and resistance.
-
Choose your workout style based on knee strap placement:
Under the kneecaps: Best for a power walking motion.
Above the kneecaps: Best for an XC Nordic ski simulation.
